That looks great. What lift did you go with?I want to run 33s but was thinking of leveling out the front at the same time.

It’s a full OME set, 886 (HD coils) in front, and the HD rear leafs (+660lbs). I built mine to support armor, and a Decked system and my GoFastCamper that’s in order. Obviously if you aren’t gonna load it up you don’t need it to be that heavy duty.

ChoyotaChocoma, what are you running lift and tires wise? Also, where did you get the chrome dipped on your grille? Looks great all around!

Thinking of doing something with that emblem.....more complicated with the sensor.
You can either dip it, but I bought the actual OEM bezel that was black. Think it was part #52711-04010. Will cost you about $100. Didn’t want to dip something that was more prone to the elements, the front of the car. I dipped the side and rear emblems but will probably end up painting them instead. Not happy with the way they look with dip.

The lift is a temporary strut spacer in the front at 1.5”, giving a 3” lift. The rear is a Headstrong AAL with the overload left in. I have the Bilsteins 5160 but didn’t install them yet until I have the 6112s coilovers come in for the fronts. So right now its on stock shocks. The tires are Falken Wildpeaks AT3Ws at 285/70-17. I’m growing tired of waiting for the 6112s to come in, so we shall see....

One more thing: JBA Upper Control Arms....and a killer alignment from alignment specialists. No chop needed.

Does the 6” BDS lift require the crossmembers or frame to be cut?

I think all of them do man when you go higher than 3 inches. After the crossmemver is cut. You don’t even see where it was cut. Spoke to toyota. Voids my warranty suspension wise only. It’s a Toyota... my chances are pretty good and if something does happen, I bite the bullet. I figured, if I can pay 5 grand on a 6” lift/suspension then I should be able to afford to fix something. Worth it in my opinion. Best setup, best look comes with the price.

Btw I switched my rear blocks to 1 inch taller. Because I tow a boat.

how is the ride quality compared to stock? I have a 18 pro and been thinking hard on doing this same lift. Also did you change to 4.88 gears?
