I already did the Subaru Tweeters, now I finally got around to installing the kicker door speakers. They are definitely better than the paper stock speakers. The stock are so light! It's crazy. I got my speakers from crutchfield but couldn't get the speaker to adapter screws to work, so, in one of my more successful "eff it"s, I just glued the speakers to the adapters and it worked great!

If they stay glued for a month I'll reply to the $250 Audio upgrade thread with the tip.

New shoes - ordered a new set of the just released Cooper AT3 4S, 265/70/16. Love the look and so far they handle and ride great (in the rain!)

Speaker vibrations, coupled with the repetitive slamming of the door...it's only a matter of time till they break loose(I could be wrong).

Yeah, that's why I'm not going to recommend it until at least a month. It's the glue I use to put RC planes back together and glue rc tires to wheels. I think it might be okay since the glue has a little bit of flex to it. If it fails I can scrape off the adapters and buy new ones. I was more concerned about heat cycling myself.

If the glue doesn't hold up you might try 3M exterior 2 face foam emblem tape. Available in different widths, foam should eliminate any vibration and did you ever try to get that shit off?
Just thinking out of the box.

Good idea for an alternative. I think if I ever have a speaker fall off I'll just go buy some hardware to do it "right". I just didn't have time and had to get the truck back together so I didn't miss the gf's 30th birthday party.

The bezel, or the bezel AND the emblem? I've done the bezel, but as far as the emblem I'm debating to whether to lay some tint wrap on the plastic oval, or removing the oval and vinyl-wrapping the emblem somehow (and then putting it back together).

Need to know if this would disrupt the TSS.

Glad they replaced it for you. When I tried they said the part was on back order and didn't know when one would be in. After a week and a half of no word, while also being on the list for a rental, I just decided to order the part myself. Easy 10 min job once it arrived.

It’s the new AT3 4S - went the SL route to keep weight down. Love them so far though
