I have read every post about this issue and still not having any luck. The front and rear passenger side of the truck inside is pooling water . I removed the carpet on the passenger side, vacuumed the carpet and the water underneath. I sat in the truck with the carpet up with a sprinkler running and saw no water coming in from front or back. Ive checked the drain tubes up front, Sprayed the doors directly, back window. Any suggestions?

check your grommets under the truck... they may be worn out

check your door seals for rips / tears / dry rot...

    hopefully that fixes it

No AC has been off, water seems to be pooling up more in the back seat. Just went out and put a coat hanger up the drain tube and found nothing.

Do you have Front Mud flaps??? Bottom of door seal may be allowing splashing water between the door?

Is the headliner anywhere wet? Does it only happen after it's been raining or all the time? Do you run the HVAC system in the defrost position?

It only happens when it rains. And yes I do run the HVAC in defrost most the time in the winter especially now because there is alot of condensation on the inside of the windshield. I've checked the headliner and is completely dry also up under the dash is completely dry.

No I do not have mud flaps up front. I'll have to check that out.

If you’ve had your windshield replaced ever, they often ruin the lower plastic seal while removing it. If there is any gap between the windshield and this strip, then you’ll need to somehow seal it. I used some black electrical tape just to eliminate it from the equation and bingo, no more pooling.

Is the cabin air filter getting wet? If so it is the plastic cowling under the windshield allowing water to enter the air inlet under the cowling on the passenger side.

Here is a picture of the inlet with the cowling lifted.

Check to see if you have any water coming in from your rear sliding window.

A service TSB bulletin regarding your issue.

Basically, the trough drains for the sliding rear window plug up and overflow into the truck.

    Rear Window Water Leak

Some 2005 - 2010 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a condition where the interior carpet has become wet or water is found in the interior due to water draining into the cabin from the rear window. This can occur in heavy rain or a car wash if the rear window molding seal is covering the rear cab drain vents allowing water to enter the vehicle. Use the following repair information to correct this condition.

If i run my defroster, my condensation hose drips. I believe that's how it's supposed to be, but I could be very wrong, i have been before.

I believe I remember a thread(s) on this issue a while ago .... IIRC the water as getting behind the door seal way up high on the top/sides of the door seals and dripping down behind the door seals onto the floor. Front lower edge of passengers door was, I seem to remember a the water exit point.

Any luck figuring our where your issue was? my 16 is doing the exact same thing and for the life of me I cant find the source. Its driving me crazy

I had water pooled on my passenger floor only in the front. Not a lot, but enough to saturate the underlining and carpet. I checked my seals and everything is in great shape. AC drain is clear, cabin filter dry. No clue how to check the rear window though. I feel it may be that. Water can enter in one place and show up on complete other side so Im not ruling anything out
