Another piece to the puzzle. I’ve been holding off spending any money to save for shocks but I don’t think I will get another opportunity to pick one up due to the busy season at work. So I bit the bullet and just bought it. The plan is to use this tank to build the fuel cell without downing the truck for long.

Another thing :( as you can see that it is sitting where my welder goes. I’ve been getting fan notifications saying it’s not working properly so since I’m going to have to use the shit out of it soon I rather let someone look at it before then. So the welder is going to be at Buckeye for the next two to three weeks. Which is fine I still have a lot more work until I really need it. Plus the welder should still be under warranty.

Yes sir. I know right....... :frusty: not going to sugar coat it. I’m pretty pissed but I can take step back and see what happens. It was the display model when I got it. People play with display models. We shall see. I’ll keep you posted.

Can’t be upset with the things you can’t control. Just another obstacle (with what seems like a solution) you’ll overcome and keep pushing forward.

For sure. It’s their problem now, not mine. Just hopefully everything is covered under warranty so it doesn’t pull funds from the shock savings. Just seems like I start saving and something comes up. All well. Just going to take me longer. I really need to work more Saturdays.

The link is done thanks to @jubei for doing this for me. I really appreciate the time, effort and patience of me changing shit after you drew it :D they came out great bud!

This is most of the shell of the link. There are pieces I will cut to fit myself once the link is cut up.

Same here, was going to do more but my cab doesnt move at all. I sealed where the tubes enter the cage and painted over it so I could see if it was flexing and cracking the paint on the sealant. Zero movement so I never added any more

Sounds good guys thanks for your input. I’ll do the same. I don’t want to add more steel then I have to. Trying to not weigh it down to much.

C pillar is complete. I didn’t get pics of it all together because I don’t have the welder to tac it back together and I still need to do the tube on the floor from the b pillar to the c pillar. Or maybe I should just do the floor after everything is welded together..... hummm.

So now it’s just the floor and front diagonal tubes by the front seats I need to make. I also need to cut the holes in the firewall for the engine cage tie ins. I’m putting a short 1.75” with a 1.50”sleeve welded inside to build the engine cage off of this winter. I also need to make plates for around the a pillar to tie in the cab. I’m also going to tie the cab into the c pillar by the mounts because I cut so much of the mount off.

So basically it’s just a bunch of little things now. I only used 5 1/2 sticks of 22’. So I have plenty of DOM for the bed cage.

The cut pieces are the c pillar tubes. The only waisted tube I have is this bent one that I’ll cut up and use in the bed somewhere. Getting everything out of this expensive tube for sure.

Nope. It’s going to be storage. I’ll figure out some kind of organizer I can build in the back seat. Just to small to force a seat back there.

Man if I could get away with mounting a 240 on the truck that would be so badass. But to be honest I can’t even have a 22 :( all well.

Yup. Are you going to enclose the bed cage? Or keep it open? I’m planing on sealing everything up with aluminum panels . I want the bed closed off to the elements.
