How's reception with the short antenna?

 

Here’s one for the mystery file. Changing my oil and as I am feeding my drain tube from the filter I hear something fall and land under the truck. Turns out it is an undamged seal. I am praying it did not work it’s way out of any vital part. The only thing I can think of is some seal not put back when I had my front struts installed or just one that bounced into my engine compartment from the road. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Don’t see any leaks of any kind.

I did a quick test with all my local FM stations and didn't notice any difference. It's the 6 3/4 on Amazon.

 

Those coils won’t work with bilsteins. They’re meant for adjustable coilovers.

none at all, but I think I solved the mystery. It is identical to the oil cap gasket as I removed the one on the cap and compared them. Same size and part number. So conclusion, I suspect is that when I used to go in for the free oil changes, the stealership lost it in my engine compartment and replaced the cap with a new one. It probably took this long for it to unloge itself from wherever it was stuck and the drain tube just helped pushed it out. I can now sleep better tonight.

Sorry my mistake I saw silver and assumed Eibach coils. If they’re Fox @EatSleepTacos is right on I believe

Yeah that’s why I asked just in case you were unaware. I searched the part number and they came back to 600 lb Fox springs, which don’t work.

 

I missed the part number somehow until he posted it

 

Had my sliders stripped and repainted. Took the opportunity to remove the BAMF badging too (Impossible to get them sealed)

Stripping off bedliner was a major pain in the ass. Do not use that stuff. Mine were on for 6 months and started chipping, rusting and sun fading.

 

I use it all the time but I top coat with 2-3 coats of black paint and no problems yet

It was teeny tiny, barely visible in the pic.

 

Washed it using the new pressure washer. I was a bit surprised, never used one on a car before. I thought it would blast off more dirt, but I guess it was caked on thick lol. Used the foaming attachment too which helped, but it needed some elbow grease.


In the fall I plan to do a full detail...get all the gunk off, claybar, polish and rewax it. I'd do it now but its too dang hot in summer.

 

Took my door off and started on tube doors. Also did the hinge mod I found on another site. Just notch each top hole to make solo door install possible.
