Knowing that walking into a local dealership will probably get charged full price, are there any online dealerships selling these anymore? I searched the part number and most have the item listed as not available anymore. Seems like some folks were able to have the OEM grille for a little over $200 AND UNDER $300. I think that's a price tag I can deal with. Unfortunately, just can't find that deal anywhere online. Ebay dealership wants $499. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Was in the same boat as you. Was able to score a few pieces (wire harness and garish) in anticipation of do this mod and then came across this thread. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/110-trd-pro-grills-for-local-pick-up-now-shipping-too.554247/

For those getting the "clean sensor" error, we were getting that on a couple test trucks when developing our 2018 grill. I tried a few different plastics in the process and one of them has yet to fail me (not to say that it might not fail you, idk).

I have some scrap pieces if you want to give it a shot. Just PM me, if you're getting the clean sensor error and I'll drop a piece in the mail for you. I'm assuming it's about 3"x3" or 3"x4", right?

For anyone looking for a different grill than the Pro, we're offering a buy back on the faux pro china grills towards credit of a new one: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...sh-bezels-with-faux-pro-buyback-offer.394542/

I have gotten that error yet, but i did get the PCS icon on yesterday after leaving the co-op wash. System was disabled though it was on. Icon light did disappear later that day when I had to run an errand and it's still off, system operating like normal. The sizing is roughly 3.25" h x 3-3.5"w.

Other than screwing the garnish piece back...the grill piece is just push in only? Couldn’t find where he screws would fit?

No screws used for the new pro grill, just push in all the tab locations.

Is it easier to take out the lock washers or just to buy new ones?

Stock. Wasn't feeling the chrome bezel, so I looked into getting myself some knock off goodness...

    IMG-0467.jpg

Bought an eBay 2018 TRD Pro grill and went with the OEM Garnish and OEM Extended wire loom...

    IMG-0502.jpg

Then made the mistake of checking out some more threads and saw this! I likeded this look better - OEM SR5 Matte Black Bezel. #damnyouforumsofsatan

    IMG-0523.jpg

Anyhow, anyone near Norwalk, California looking to pick up an eBay TRD Pro grill with OEM Garnish and OEM extended wire loom? :annoyed:

    $OLD.

Not from what I've read here...since the radar is lower the existing cable will reach but it is not routed as it would be on the stock Pro set up (wire is visible if you use the stock loom) so my OCD kicked in and I popped for the extended cable.

I just used a Dremel to grind the melted plastic around the plastic studs and the piece came out
