New owner here of 2018 white off-road double cab, looking to replace current wheels with the TRD pro, was considering using the stock tires or should I also replace the tires as well? Currently everything is stock, not sure if lifting is in the future. Don't think I will be doing any major off roading, using as daily driver, camping, road trips.

I added the pro wheels and kept the stock tires. They look pretty good and are capable. Not long after, I'm feeling like new tires are in order, for height and looks. Probably going to get the Cooper at3 LT once there is enough reviews on them. Welcome to TW.

I ordered these last week (FN Wheels ƒ(x) Pro - Matte Black). Dustin from FN wheels will set you up if interested. Also ordered my Wildpeaks today! I'm psyched!! :)

This is another member on here tires. These are what I'll go with since they come in C rated. Not a ton of C rated options for 16s.

Falken Wildpeak's are a great option, SL rated. I had KO2's in 16's and agree the E rated are not fun on a daily basis, affects braking, every bump you feel, heavy and puts stress on drivetrain, way overkill on our trucks.

Nice, guess I'll go ahead and stick with stock tires and use the money towards running boards. What percentage tints you have for the windows?

    SL 4 ply
    C 6 ply
    E 8 ply

In a nutshell, the higher the number the weight increases and the tire stiffens and becomes more durable.

E rated tires are usually 10 ply.

    D rated are usually 8.

I got them from a Toyota dealership in Florida on eBay. I believe they were $800. I ordered them when they ran a 20 percent off sale.

So just got back from dealer, Parts said they won't order the matte Trd Pro wheels since it won't fit per vin, he also said the 16" Glossy Trd pro may or not fit due to "offset". The only wheels he said that would fit are ones I had no interest in. I may just get the glossy 16" pro since I would use the same tires. Walked away with only Tint appointment and ordered Trd Pro Grilled which he was hesitant on selling me. Anyone got a picture of white off-road with the glossy TRD pro wheels? Was really set on the Matte, didn't realize it only come in 17" and was told for 4-runners onl

Wait, are the matte wheels called the FN FX Pro?
