Hi everyone, new guy here from Belmont, NC just west of Charlotte. Like many I've been lurking for a while before joining. I was actually hoping to buy a Tacoma a few years ago, but went with a 4Runner because it was cheaper. For the past 3+ years I've been driving a 2001 4Runner Sport Edition 4WD. Last week I purchased a 2008 Tacoma SR5 PreRunner.

I'm really excited to finally be in a Tacoma and am looking forward to doing some mild modification. Nothing crazy, since the budget (and wife) won't allow it, but it needs headlights so I'm researching my options there, I've ordered a set of Husky Weatherbeaters, I'm going to put a bluetooth headunit in (already picked out the Pioneer AVH-1440NEX) and hope to later add a Sound Ordnance B-8PTD.

I've owned several S10's and really appreciated the help/insight from a large forum community and am looking forward to the same here. I saw another new member recently posted from Charlotte, NC. I hope to connect with some other local Tacoma owners.
