Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Got some nice new pinstripes from Interlake.
I’m thinking I might be figuring out the airing down thing. I chose not to air down yesterday, and it seemed to handle the mud much better.

So I’m thinking air down for rocks, and leave my tire pressure alone for mud.

It was damn hot, and when I’d pass a Jeep with all their stuff open and feet hanging out their door for air, it felt awesome to roll down my windows so I could talk to them.

    Love my AC!

You're going to get better traction in mud airing down. More rubber to grab

Also, wheel spin helps clear the treads. Definitely air down for rocks. About 20-18psi seems to be a happy place for most tires/wheels that aren't real bead locks.

20 psi is definitely easier on the bones.

I guess my philosiphying on my tires digging deeper into the mud at regular pressure was wrong.

    It did awesome anyhow.

More pressure means less high center risk, which was a problem for me on the 245 AT2s when I'd run them at 18 or less. However, truck drove like a dream in all other situations except deep mud.
Now, with KM2s, ain't care at all!

So,,, does anyone have plans this weekend that I could barge in on?

It’s looks like it’ll be next week before I have to return to the grind.

Doing my 30000 mile service and finishing up some wiring projects. Prepping for a Upper Peninsula Michigan trip at the end of the month with the gf.

I'll be doing the service at my parent's place with the help of my stepdad. Up north of Dayton in Tipp City.

There’s some Tacoma’s from Chicago supposed to be at Badlands this weekend.
    I might run over there.
I just hope they’re not too pretty to play.

Or just wanna set around and take selfies.

By the looks of what I saw on the highway this morning, it should be very crowded there. Several trailers packed with ATV's....
