The ONLY advantage to this is it will cut down on Dog hair inside the cab. o_O Your cloth seats will get a ton of road shit all over them. ( I have driven 40 years in my Jeep I know all about driving with NO doors)

I run the Phillips crystalvision that claim to let you see 130% farther...I don't think that number is accurate but they are brighter and whiter than stock ive always ran them

I'm just worried about condensation, I wonder if I should shoot some flex seal around it

Washed/clay bar/wash/waxed on Sunday, exhaust axel dump, full sized spare squeezed in, and interior detailed.

Still need another alignment (it’s still not right, NTB sucks and can’t understand how to adjust both front and rear lca eccentrics to move toe and camber). Also need to wire up my ditch lights and swap in my Rago fog brackets and Rigid Fogs to replace the faded CaliRaised brackets and pods that are filled with condensation.

The end of truck work for the summer is close... but then again, so is fall

Finished installing redline hood strutstoday at work. Luckily I have hand squeezers at work to do the hood mounts. That’s something the manufacturer does not mention.Albeit, these are nice to have.

Nice! I just did mine too, getting the stock "filter" off was kind of a PIA, but well worth the small investment!

I broke one of the tabs getting it off, oh well, not like it’s going back on. Instant gratification makes me so impatient!

After meticulously placing business cards and credit cards in all of the tabs and removing the sucker, I realized I should have just broken it off and called it good. I think from past experience though of buying something then realizing it doesn't work/fit for whatever reason makes me real hesitant to breaking anything off for that matter alone. All in all though, can't beat the price and makes me wonder why Toyota didn't go with one of these in the first place.

Installed OME shocks with 885's, and Heavy Duty Dakar leaf pack. with 16" FN rims on 265/75/16 Wildpeaks. Still waiting for the lift to settle to retorque and get an alignment. Theres a bunch of shudder from the back when accelerating around 20mph. but dissapears after. stearing wheel and seat also shake above 55mph..which im assuming is due to alignment or bad wheel balancing. anyway.. stoked how it came out...hate the runnerboards.. but the wife wont let me take them off until I get rock sliders. lol
Will also be installing tint up front, and doing the black headlight mod tomorrow... and my Tonneau cover comes in today.

Quite a bit to do at one time that’s cool. Truck looks great. If rear shimmy persists get or make a cb drop

Thanks! haha yeah.. I get impatient.. but thats good to know... I read somewhere else that using large washers to space out the CB at least a 1/2" will help? Should I suggest my mechanic to try that before getting a drop kit?

Can you post your measurements of center of hub to fender? I have the same setup with medium Dakar's and curious about the difference in lift

That’s essentially all the drop kit is. You don’t need a mechanic it’s just 2 bolts. Loosen them but only remove 1 at a time. I’ve done it to both trucks I’ve had and it will either remove all or most of it unless there’s other issues. I’d try this first next step would be shimming the rear.
