Ended up needing to do an full detail to get the paint condition back to where I'd like. Random blotching/spots on the paint finish, along with the water spotting/almost matte finish on the bumper/fender flares irked me. The previous application of Gyeon's ceramic coating was supposed to last up to a year, but it has been almost two. Wish I could of prolonged it until Winter, but the "damage" was done. Ended up being an earlier excuse to do a paint correction :p

I couldn't stand looking at the paint, so I ended up at one of Chemical Guys' storefront, otherwise I would of ordered a few different products online. Main thing I needed was a heavier clay bar, compound, and pads. Luckily it didn't take too much work to bring back the shine of the paint. Mainly used V36/Orange Hex Pad and V38/White Hex Pad for most of the truck.

Random spots all over the truck. There was minimal amount of water beading after washing the truck which is not a characteristic of a ceramic coated finish.

First Pass with the DA and V38/White Hex Pad

Blotches and some swirls gone, didn't want to go for "perfection" as I did not want to cut through too much clear coat.

Bumper back to having a somewhat glossy finish as compared to before.

Ended up waiting a couple extra days to get a helping hand from one of my buddies to finish the whole truck

Did a few more passes to the passenger side fender to try and remove a couple pinstripes.

About 6 hours later.. definitely in way better of shape compared to before. Do not recall what sealant was applied, but it is temporary for a couple months until I decide on which ceramic coating to go with next
