    so i was in wal-mart,

they had mobil 1, Mobil 1 Suv/Pick up, and mobil 1 extend life cover 15,000 miles...

which one is the best here? I would not mind spending $4 more and get that 15000 miles on a 5 quart jug if its going to protect that long, less time on oil changes...

what do u guys think eh?

Also I bought it at Walmart the last oil change. Then I was in Advanced auto parts for my iridium plugs & the Mobil 1 syn was cheaper than Walmart.

I will be buying my Mobil1 5w-30 or 0w-30 synthetic @ Advanced auto parts from now on.

yeah, wal-mart was like $24 on a 5 qt jug, advance auto parts IS cheaper!

plus, I think I'm going to buy the OEM oil filter, cause the inside of oil filter is so much better due to thickness,..of course I'll get the filter thats made in Japan not the one from Thailand or Malaysia! haha... made by Denso

I think it's all the same stuff...... it's just marketing.

If there is a difference - then what are they putting in it that makes it different from the original stuff.

I only run the regular mobil 1 syn. If I towed then I'd probably think about getting the truck/suv oil.

I don't trust my oil to last 15000 miles. Changing the oil is easy enough, so I do it every 6 months or 5000 miles (whichever comes first)

i went to advance auto part to get a oil filter wrench/strap
and i saw the Mobil 1 there, there were not that cheap at all... the Pennzoil plantinum were cheaper.... and the selection was horrible... the didn't have the 5 quart jug!
Wal-mart is a good place to get oil... and advance auto part is a good place to go to get filter.... I guess one place can't have it all uh?
