Leg day yesterday and I had a bad day. Couldn't low bar because of my elbow pain and high bar felt weird, tried front squats and it was just heavy. 185 felt like 225. So I went to the leg press and did a bunch of volume. did around 100 reps 3 sets of 10 with 5 plates and jumped to bicep curls in between so also got volume on biceps. Disappointed leg day was off but hopefully my elbow gets better and I can go back to it. I think its golfers elbow. Gonna take it easy this week and see if it gets better.

Time to start working out again. Bought a rack and bench for my garage. Just need some dumbbells and I’ll be all set

Looks good! Slowly but surely you can build it up!

The safety side in me is coming out though, be careful with all extra stuff lying around, all it takes is a dumbbell to roll or a weight to roll into it and all of it come crashing down.

I just got it installed this weekend. I just bought this place a month ago so it’s still a work in progress. Just bought some overhead storage so all that shit lying around will be off the ground this weekend

Has anyone built their own plyo boxes? I'm thinking about getting one, not sure if I should just fork over the cash and buy one from a company, or if they're relatively easy enough to make on your own.

I’ve personally never made one but I looked at this write up and it doesn’t seem to be too difficult. And it’ll be much cheaper than buying one from rogue or some other name brand.

I have that link pulled up as well. Just read through this one: http://www.endofthreefitness.com/how-to-build-another-plyometric-box/

I think I'll build my own. I've got to make a home depot trip today anyways, guess I'll get myself a sheet of plywood and make a box this weekend

I’d be interested to see how it turns out. Post a pic up when it’s done. Good luck on your build!

Might try and start today. Likely will have home depot do the cutting for me because I have zero desire to do the cuts myself. And their saw is much better... We'll see how the day goes

Got my drawing marked up. The guide only uses one brace. I’m going to up it and use 4 as I’ll have extra wood anyways. Dotted lines are where the braces will be going

Almost done drilling pilot holes in all pieces. Have one side left and the braces to do and then will disassemble, put wood glue on, reassemble with all screws and then she’s good to go for tomorrow mornings lift
