Got a bed mat and Undercover Ultraflex. Looking to get Toyota black oval Nerf bars next. Might look into what's involved with the power tailgate mod too.

Reminds me of what a former boss told me many, many moons ago. He said, "Never be afraid to fail because if you are you will never learn anything!"
Very wise but tough man and the best boss I've ever had.........., aside from my wife of course!

    Happy Independence Day to all!

I have a question for fellow Sport owners. My flares have somewhat of an orange peel texture in the paint. Not the super slick paint finish as the rest of my truck. Is this normal. It's not an "oh my God what's wrong with the paint" thing but just can't help but wonder. I don't have a problem with it but, with my primary 3 year warranty closing in, should I dare to ask a dealer about it and, if they think it is not right, dare I let them booger up my flares with a repaint. Just curious.

I'm guessing they had some texture to them before they were painted but like I said I'm guessing.

See if you can download this pic and zoom up on the flare Steve. Looks like the same thing if you look at the shiny parts. Likely just the way it is with the plastics.

Yep looks the same. They must have textured the paint on the flares because the bumpers are baby butt smooth. Coincidentally Baby Butt Smooth was my "player" name in high school.

Yea, my guess is, they just paint the OR flares without any prep but primer. It's ok but Baby Butt Smooth would be nicer. And now I have that to think of you as from now on. BBS.

I know somewhere there are ladies scouring FB looking for BBS from the good old days.

At my age I don't look forward to class reunions. What will we do. Geritol Shooters. Discuss the latest Food Lion ad. Wild stories about knee replacements. No thanks. I will be the one in the truck in the parking lot jammin to Primus (that is a rock band Rob) :rockband:

Just got an email about a cool new exhaust from Gibson. Not sure how the one looks for Tacomas but I think it looks badazz. The Patriot Series.
