    Its the company truck
    I think 8000k lumens is as bright as you can get before it starts turning blue. But if you want good bright lights i would look into retrofitting for projectors

    I use Piaa Xtreme white bulbs. I've had them in a while. Happy with them. Also, since you are in a spending mood I would also replace the headlight housing with new ones if your OEM ones are yellowed.

    K&n, flowmaster, plastidip, chipped, hids, daves


    6000k is slight blue

    8000k is very blue

    4300k is white with a tiny bit of yellow

    That said.... the higher the KELVIN, the DIMMER the output.

    "K" stands for KELVIN...... thats it. Not lumen, not lux, not banana.... KELVIN

    I've seen the convertions...while really nice upgrade.....the investment is steep...ill stick with halogen....

    Same bulb though so yes it will. Plus it's beneficial to upgrade to a custom relay harness.

They actually seem to output more light than the OEMs. If you combine it with a headlight polishing, if yours need it, and they have a nice tiny bit of blue visible in the reflector which looks nice. I also put them in my Sequoia, but due to the refletor design they don't seem to have the blue visible in the relfectors as much as my Tacoma does. Highly recommended

    I put a set of the Silverstars in mine. The light is whiter than stock, but in my opinion, not better. My lenses are clear, but the insides are starting to yellow and there is "crazing" along the focal points from age. I would get brand-new units (I plan to) and put a set of Silverstars into them.

    I will never run Silverstars again. I do like the bulbs, but they are stupid expensive and burn out very quickly. I can't spend $70 on bulbs for them to maybe last a year. There are better options. Just look on the back of the packaging. They even show you that they don't last long compared to their other products.

    I've had good experiences with Philips and Osram. Not so much with Sylvania Silverstar. Have to be careful not to get knockoff bulbs made in china. If the bulb is made in Germany then you're good to go.

    I barely use my truck anymore and even less frequently drive it at night. I installed these SSs about 6 years ago and probably used the headlights only a couple dozen times so I believe you. Good thing I saved the stock bulbs.
