Here's a little siamese cat mosaic I did. I don't really like how it came out so I put it on my instagram to sell it for best offer. I don't have a large following so if anyone likes it you'd most likely get it lol. Anyways, I love painting my fur baby, but mosaic is a medium I have yet to get used to lol. If you want to check out the post you can click the little instagram button in my sig.
Also, that reminds me of my second favorite siamese @maxtherat , good to see Suki getting some sun!

What’s there not to like about that- it looks amazing!!! It certainly shows how much you love your Kink. What are the dimensions and estimated weight? I have a picture of my late Maxine that I always wanted to have painted. I always though she looked so regal on the picture. Now I don’t even know where it’s at now that I’m thinking about it.

    Introducing...Lana!

She’s currently isolated in my bedroom, hiding from everyone but especially her brother Sterling. It took a few days worth of visits at the shelter for her to warm up to me, so she’ll come around in a day or two and get used to her new environment.

If she decides to come out in the sunlight, maybe I’ll get some decent photos of her faint brown tabby markings. It’s actually pretty neat.

    wow congrats!
Love to see adopted kitties. Our cat was the only one available that wasnt the most cuddly and precious thing. She was severely underweight and shaking in her little kennel. I took to her for whatever reason and she came out of hiding within about a day. She became comfortable and playful around days 3-5. Didnt take too long; she still doesnt like anybody else though.

This is 8 x 8 inches on cradled birch board so it's real easy to hang. If I'd have to guess I'd say it's about two pounds.

I'm always open to commissions. You can feel free to dm me on here if you ever want that picture painted or anything like that. I actually just quit my job today and am hoping to pay my way through the next couple months by selling my art so I can get certified to do real estate. I recently became disabled and am trying really hard to avoid disability. Not to mention we are trying to buy a house next spring. Yikes. Good thing Kink doesn't eat much food

Did you know they all want to kill us in one way or another.
It sure sounds like lube got quite a bit going on with your life. Hope everything works out ok for you. I know absolutely nothing about art and have no artistic vision or inclination. My vision is not totally a portrait yet not a cartoon either. What is/ could that be considered? I would love to surprise my wife with something like that. What would you charge for something like that?

Lana laid with me under the covers last night with her head on my arm, then hid under those very same covers all day.

Right now she’s exploring the room and playing with the toys that my daughter got her.

    Progress!

I know of SO many cats named Luna right now. Weird that it's such a popular name for them.

Sorry, bad non sequitur on my part. I hadn't even noticed that you named yours Lana, lol.
I was browsing facebook and saw that a buddy of mine's wife just got a kitten and named it Luna, which makes cat #4 that I know about named Luna.

Moved a dresser I wasn't using from bedroom to office for storage. My Calvin found another napping post.

Anybody got any tips for removing mats/knots from the belly? Kiki is long haired and she likes to groom herself. She's been crying like crazy lately and I think it's because of her belly hairs.

We used to have to use scissors on Eddie.
He had such long hair that if we didn’t groom him for a few days he’d start getting mats. We think though that he may have started not grooming as much when my mother in law moved away with her dogs Cedric and Joe (lol Long story) which is why he started getting the mats, they were like damned dreadlocks, but when we moved back all together he stopped having as many mats...

We tried combing them out but he hated it so much...

A nice sharp pair of scissors, but you have to be extremely careful so that you don't nick or cut their skin. I cut the big ones off in smaller manageable pieces, working my way closer to their skin. If you get enough off, it'll just open up and you can brush it out without having to get to the skin. It can be a tedious process, but you've got to be very cautious and once your kitties figure out that you're helping relieve pain, they'll start to relax. They may even work with you by flatting themselves out. Since we have two Main Coons, I have to stay on top of this constantly and as soon as I feel one even starting, I get it right away. This means that every time you pick them up, pet them, stroke them, your are essentially petting them all over ( in all directions ) with a gentle massage as you look for them.

However, if there's already a lot of them and some are larger, you should consider going to a vet or professional groomer to get the initial lot shaved off and you do the maintenance to catch when they're small after that. My wife doesn't do any of this and doesn't tune into enough to notice developing mats, so this responsibility falls squarely on me. Let us know if you have more questions.

Beautiful Tabby Boy by the way.

I'll keep you guys updated. There's a few of them and they're a decent size as well.
