    Line-X, LED Gauges, Bluetooth Stereo, TracRac, OME 2.5 Lift, Relentless Fab rear bumper, Shrockworks front. Bleh. So much good stuff.
    It doesn't. The only thing that really works for that is the 3m set where you use the drill. If they're not too bad though, give bug spray a try. Doesn't last terribly long but it helps.

    so I see Toyota put a 11mm bleeder on the clutch slave cylinder... as if 10mm or 12mm would not suffice. so much for doing a system flush - not running out to find a 11mm “brake line” wrench.

    alright on my way to pick up some tundra brake calipers at Napa. One more time before I head over there, what's the best rotor and brake pad option?

    Autozone I've heard for rotors and brake pads - autozone duralast gold are $113 for pads and rotors.

    Is there a difference between the rotors and pads from Napa or is it about the same any way you go?

    Also, 13wl is the number I'm looking for yeah?

    @BartMaster1234 @mechanicjon

    and I'm stoked - the new slave cylinder fits - the piston was seized in the one on my truck!

    That was kinda my point - I bought a combination 10/12mm flare nut wrench that's worked great on the brakes so far and a few other places. Not to mention 3 sets of metric wrenches. A 11mm bleeder - i am certain made sense to some Japanese engineer as either a 10mm or 12mm just would not do.

    True enough - guess I had other things I was thinking of than reinventing the wheel. Fiddle f@cking around on you back trying to figure out why neither a 10 or 12 'specialty tool' will fit on ... will do that to you.

    What's going in the trash ... OME 881?

    Rookie question... I know OME is Old Man Emu, but when I looked up OME 881 is that a brand, model or ??? As they kicked out a whole bunch more names & designations.

    881's are the model name for the coil spring

    I got a set of flex head flare nut wrenches and can't remember for the life of me where they came from, but they're gear wrench and are sizes 9-15mm I believe

    good progress so far man - being from Maine I know how bad rust can be on these trucks. Looking awesome. You should keep your lift just under the x-member. Those 'jack stands' are a little sketchy. Can't hurt to have an extra measure of safety!

    I edited my last post - did you see the part about keeping your floor jack under the x-member in case on of those jack stand contraptions you have fails - I'm super paranoid about it, but no one can drive their truck when they're smashed into a pancake
