If you still need some modded guys to try out 1.05:
I have 33" tires with intake and exhaust and reliable access to 93 octane. Also have gears that will be installed in a week or so. /Whenever I get around to it.

I will be able to give some good data on all of that after I get 500 miles on the gears and heat cycle them.

 

1.05 release before this weekend? Going on a 500 mile trip!!!! @OVTune

 

I'm betting late Aug / early Sept...

 

I'd say - not a chance. he's just now looking for loggers to
help test things. Can't imagine it would even be July on this one
as this should be the last of them excluding custom tunes and such.

 

I must be doing something wrong - I am trying to open the reg key that Mat sent and this is what shows up:


I turned off all of the anti-virus defender poop...

Any ideas as to how to get this file to open?

I had a similar issue, in addition to turning off the Windows Defender firewall I had to search "firewall" in the start menu search bar and turn off all of those fire walls.

Yeah, just do a search for anything virus, scan, firewall, defender, etc.

I somehow got a a free trial of mcafee that I didn’t remember clicking through in my haste to get a new cheap burner laptop ready to flash. Kept shutting down the transfer and I was so sure I had everything turned off.
Finally found it after doing a google search for anti virus software and then searching my computer for the top hits. Turned it off and flashing was a breeze after that.

I have the 87 tune installed and want to flash the 91 since I ran all of the 87 out of my tank. To do that do I go back to the point in the directions that start right after Mat sent the 87 and 91 tune files—toy flash,flash it,etc.?

 

But.. plenty of volunteers run stock trucks.

 

Yep, just like the flash for 87 only select 91.

Still runs like it did day the first day I flashed. No issues with the tune.

I’ve been running some version of OVT for over 25,000 miles now. I’d never go back to stock. Looking forward to seeing what 1.05 does
