Has anyone here had trouble mounting RRW to their 4x4 or PreRunner?

I bought some RRWs, and they aren't mounting to my 2012 4x4. The center cap won't clear the dust/hub cover.

You can see that the center bore is wide enough, at 108mm, but its not deep enough, and there is a lip that is significantly smaller.

So it won't clear the dust cover, and requires either spacers, or boring out that lip to mount.

Has anyone else run into this?

What’s the difference between back dia. and front dia.? Also how thick is the lip? Maybe a drill & cylinder hone!?

I didn't measure it, but eyeball seems to be about 4-5 mm smaller.

No problem. If you contact them let us know how it goes. I am looking at buying a set their wheels.

At this point, I can't recommend them. Knowing that their wheels don't fit 4x4 toyota's, but marketing them as off-road wheels, without any notes anywhere about fitment issues is bad business.

Go with something that will fit without having to spend extra time or money, plenty of other companies out there that have similar styles, that fit right out of the box.

Along with Method, and Level 8, and several options, that would all have worked without spending extra time and money. :annoyed:

Did you buy these wheels new from RRW?

After doing some research it looks like this issue has been known about for over a year. I was looking at buying a set of RR2 wheels but not now.

No, I bought them private party from this site, but only after I had already decided that they were one of my top choices. I thought I got really lucky that someone was selling exactly what I wanted.
