Know the feeling. Drove out to Ceres (just south of modesto) to pick up a Snugtop Supersport which I ended up flipping for a nice profit after doing a bit of clean up and a new seal. Also did a non-stop to Nevada City to pick up an OE under the rail liner. Didn't want to hack up my OTR toyota liner, guy on CL had it listed for free so figured why not. Tank of gas and I had the liner I wanted for my Leer cap. Those solo drives can be cool - rockin tunes and the road.

I was a huge fan when I was younger and they had mcgwire n conseco. It was pretty epic as a kid to watch those two knock it out of the park consistently.

Anyone watch 13 Reasons Why on Netflix?

Here’s the bridge from the show. It’s the Carquinez Bridge in Benicia, CA.

This is probably the closest we’ve ever gotten to meeting IRL so far. Passed by the stadium at 8:00 PM.

Haha that’s cool. What do you do?

Please tell me you can get me an old Aritifical Horizon gauge you have laying around. I’d love to put it in the truck, lol.

One of my Ex's father owns an avionics manufacturing and designing company. I'm still on really good terms with her, wonder if they have spares of equip lying around. Next time I'm in the same town I'll ask her, the whole family works there.

That would be awesome. I have a habit of collecting weird obsolete things.

I have a payphone from JFK International Aiport, and a California Interstate 5 South entrance pole in my room.

I've got an eclectic mix of crap too, lots of old radios, table calculators (vfd, early led, huge tube ones), some old tools that I don't actually use (I have an original model Dremel)

I have this weird dream to buy the lavatory occupied sign from a 737 and wire it to my bathroom door.

I have a Roy Rogers lunchbox that was my dad’s when he was in elementary. I have my grandpa’s army helmet he wore throughout WWII. My dad has a Nazi dress sword my grandpa lifted off an SS officer he killed.

That shouldn't be to hard to find, Southwest is in the process of remodeling their fleet from the early 90s style to the new 2016+ style.

You slap “Aviation” before anything and it increases the price 10x.

I need to find a good aerospace scrapyard, what they’re charging on eBay is ridiculous.
