Been pretty quiet so far. Nothing's broken so I don't really have to do much.

It is crazy hot atm. 85 degrees in the shop.

As long as the humidity doesn't get crazy stupid at least you can sweat.

We use steam to process the milk and other assorted things, 100% humidity 100% of the time.

I'm just glad I'm not working tomorrow. It's supposed to go up to 32d C outside. So I imagine the shop (which is right off the boiler room) will see 35+ in the afternoon.

Long time ago I worked in an oil seed processing plant. Same thing but the oil vapour coated your body making it unbearable

That would be so much worse...

The only thing we really get is the odd cream shower, you really only get sticky.

I've been doing the same thing..

I blew a ring in the Supra a few weeks ago and I've been pricing up a rebuild/build and its disgusting.

On top of that I bought a house recently, so I've been looking at house stuff too... which seems to be more expensive.

I hear you there. The MK3 is my favourite body style, by far. I can't wait to be able to drive it again, holy moly.

I worked ONE night packaging butter. One was enough! If I moved faster the machine went faster. Breaks were few (2) and far between and short. I was not payed anywhere near enough for that stress level! Never did like assembly line type of work. Parents kept pushing me to go work with my uncle at the GM plant in Janesville, glad I never did that. Industrial Maintenance was much more my forte:thumbsup:

I'm a power engineer by trade, but I double as an industrial mechanic here. Pretty well my entire shift is a break until something breaks!

I'm looking for a floor jack, and one of the issues of owning a mildly lifted truck is you actually need to pay attention to maximum lift height... a lot of floor jacks will just barely touch the frame. My frame height isn't even that high
