What’s the deal with the overlander fad? It used to be practical but now it’s become something people do for cool points. The patch thing on the roof liner...dude at my work drives everyday with a bed rack and tent on top that he’s never used but 1 time. Will it fade out and become practical again? What will be the next one?

Depends some dudes have their truck all made up like it's a hairdo. Those will fade away. Mine wears it's tent and hilift all the time because it is only used for wheeling and lives in the garage otherwise. But I also go on trips and wheeling a lot. Some folks maybe think they will, idk.

The OEM ball joints did fine on my truck for 14 years but I changed them preemptively with OEM parts because they’re a well known weak point on 1st gens.

Coming soon, I had it off for a while and the uneven wear w/o it caused me to put 650# springs on my King Shocks. I had the taco lean, lol. I’ll slap it on for some pics then replicate the hiem endlinks that you bought off me, Im gonna do us all a solid, the stock ones are too dang short with a lift, thats why I took off the sway. I’m gonna make sure I make a set to fit your truck even if they are one off, it’s been good doing business with you, and I appreciate the kind words.:cookiemonster:

I don’t understand it either. My hi lift jack fits behind the seat of my regular cab with it all the way back. No need to mount everything on the outside of a larger vehicle with plenty of storage for stuff to get weather beaten, while simultaneously advertising that you have a lot of cool shit to steal.

Yes that’s a good way to describe it, like a hair doo. I mean I have another buddy who has a bad ass rig and he’s out camping and fishing with his family all the time but he’s had his set up for 7 years now before it was the “cool look” but hey at least it’s not that Florida look with 20” super wide rims with low pro tires on 5” spacers and a 6” lift lol

That's how I see mine, it been this way or similar for 6 years. Other dudes wanna give it a shot go for it. The ones that just strap stiff on an never use it just make it easier for companies I like to stay in business and keep a healthy second hand market going. @DJB1 I don't think I could keep my hilift in the cab, it gets pretty disgusting when it is used and my cab space is valuable for stuff that isn't thick hard to damage metal.
