    Cosmic_3000,
In your wiring set up would the fog lights turn on normally with the stalk switch? And I mean with the HBs off.
    Thanks,
    David

you would think if it would be illegal in any state to drive with fog lights on, it would be Kalifornia.

I want to put some Baja Design Squadrons in fog location. Therefore using them as offroad lights using factory wiring harness. That way in the desert I can use high beams and my "Baja designs LED" foglights.

In Oregon you cannot have your fogs on with oncoming traffic. They are essentially treated as high beams. That being said, most officers in my area don’t care, only a few troopers will stop for it.
I will not stop a car for fog lights unless they are annoyingly bright and blinding. Or some jackass is running his light bar... drives me crazy.

IIRC on the 5th gen 4runner you could just bend a pin on a relay in the box under the hood, and it would make the fogs run whenever you wanted... And now for the life of me I cant find any of the DIY

The Fog lights them selves are from @CaliRaisedLed ? Have they been discontinued?

Most factory fog lights are pretty useless, however, when you over light the foreground with fog lights on in conjunction with your high beams, your pupils close down adjusting to the brighter foreground light, reducing the effectiveness of your high beams. . This is something we started noticing back in the late 1970's when we were putting Cibié low beams, pencil beams and 175 series fogs on our Datsun 510s. Back then we wired those 175's (and those are some of the best fogs available then or today. You can still get them from Stern, and anyone serious about lighting should know Daniel Stern.) separately with heavy gauge wire and relays so it was easy to have all the lights on at once. You immediately saw how much your distance vision was reduced with both fogs and high beams on at once.

I didn’t see them on the site under 2016+ tacoma. Only the square.

    I’ll look again

I think you miss understood my initial post, and then I miss understood yours hahaha

I was saying that Caliraised makes something similar to the photo I posted. The photo is from the Baja Designs fog setup. Caliraised lights are square as you noted.

Both setups are great, just depends on how much money you want to spend on lighting.

That’s 100% what happened. I thought they may have reproduced Bajas design.

Sorry to get back so late. Yes with the HB's off, the fog lights work normal, the stalk will turn them on/off. With HB's on, the fog lights are always on, it will override the stalk. So if you fog lights are switched off, turning HB's on will also turn on the fog lights.

Most of the time I see these on F150s....half the LEDs are burnt out and they look like shit.
