hmmm, air compressor in shed has been running for almost 30min, its been 10-15 since i last used air..... 21 years old.....

rebuild, replace...... quandary of the day

Do you guys re-certify fire extinguishers? I’ve got three I need inspected

 

Once a year BFPE comes out and certifies ours the only time we see them again is if we use any and then we just take them to their office on 421.

Hey fellas...

Staying in Asheville this week with my girlfriend & we're going hiking in Brevard tomorrow. Anybody know of any good spots for camping? Would like to find somewhere we can take the Taco & set up camp & sleep in the bed (camper shell).

Brevard only? Or are you willing to look at some other areas?

You can do some car camping and hiking at the horse camp, Pink beds. You can access it from Brevard but I wouldn’t be able to give you accurate directions from memory. If you put North Mills River Rec area in your gps and follow the road that leads in to the point I put the crosshairs in the map that’s a beautiful spot. Lots of creek crossings out there though so prepare to get your feet wet.

Just north of brevard is an area I love, Turkey Pen. No drive up access to camp sites though.

If you want to drive a ways and hit the high elevation areas put Black balsam knob Road in your GPS. That will dead end in a parking lot and trails with 360 degree views of the mountains.
