I wander how many cold ones he consumed if it was 3:00 am in the morning when he started that crossing, he must of forgot the part about parting the water first. Or it could be here i sit and my truck want start, but it dont matter cause im a trucker ill take 2 more pills and push the fucker.

 

I hope he didn’t just purchase floatation tires and thought they weren’t just for sand.

I'm curious. @Jamesboy2233 Why did you open the hood? And why are you still standing in that nasty water? And where was the person that took the pic? On higher ground, where you should have been?

 

When my truck was drowned, I popped the hood immediately after to rip the battery wires off. Maybe he was trying to save electronics from frying too? Its kinda like a phone that fell into a toilet. You and a buddy can own the same phone and both drop them in a toilet. One might work after and the other might not.

 

But if your phone fell into the port a potty, would you jump in feet first, and start feeling around for your phone? At some point, you just have to say, "screw it, I'm outta here"

Wasn’t saying he shouldn’t! He paid for the insurance after all. The term “moral hazard” is from economics and despite having the word “moral” in it isn’t particularly about morals at all.

From an online dictionary:

moral hazard - noun

1. lack of incentive to guard against risk where one is protected from its consequences, e.g., by insurance.

In this particular case it was even more extreme - he wasn’t just protected from the risk but he made a significant profit!

 

The unfortunate thing is that we all pay more in premiums to compensate for the imbeciles who make monumentally stupid decisions.... Insurance companies are in business to male money. We all pitch in when idiots are compensated for doing dumb shit.
