Eh I've gotten to old to weed through all the specs of everything for engine changes even small ones with these newer engines are to sensitive. I may have 1 or 2 engines swaps left in me. Going to do either an lsx, another big block, or something less complex like a 4.7 into a taco.

Sounds just like you’re waiting too long in between changes. My 14 is every 5k at stock. The weight of everything in my bed and lift with bigger tires putting that little extra strain on the engine probably cuts oil life a little because the engine is working harder so I get mine as soon as it crosses that 5k mark.

Like you said it doesn’t start burning until the end so some good quality high mileage and a change at 5k would probably fix you.

An LS into the taco would be the least complex than even the 4.7. I have quite a few left in me lol. I won't ever stop till the day I die. Just finished talking the folks into letting me have their 1st gen when they decide to get a newer truck which should be soon. That'll be a project in a half. Gonna truggy the hell out of it and go with a pretty potent 6.0l. Going to try and make it a barely legal rock bouncer style buggy. High speed, big power, hill killer.

My last swap was an LsX into a foxbody that I swore was going to be mild then it took a turn for the worse and turned into an oulaw 10.5 car lol.

I'd like some more power in my taco but haven't decided on the route to take, right now the URD supercharger kit is leading the way.

I came out to my truck and this was sitting next to it. Should I be worried?

So I just went for a test drive with no rear driveshaft, and got up to 65mph and did all the things that would normally cause that vibe. It drove smooth as silk!! So it’s definitely the u joints/cb.

On a related note, I was amazed at how smooth the drive was. I had driveshaft vibes and didn’t even really realize it. I have some shims on order and will try and make everything a little smoother.

Also, I kissed my driveshaft at some point, so that’s cool.

You boys and your girly beers meanwhile down south we talk a brewery into allowing us to camp, cook a pig, hang out, and drink all we can. Where one of their Beers on tap was almost 12%alch content. lol.

    I like your style!

I'm actually just drinking bourbon right now, but I had to atleast try it to see what the hype is about.
