WTT/WTS: 09 Smoked LED tail lights

2009 tacoma led tail lights...trade for stock + $20. Painted from body shop so they look amazing. Very bright...r nicoolasm@sbcglobal.net

How tinted are they lights? Its pretty hard to tell in that picture.

 

Oh okay so they are pretty much blacked out with the lights off and you cant see any of the reflectors?

They look awesome, but I dont want to get a ticket , and I am having a hard time finding the laws on tinted tails.

 

I'm sure its different in every state but where I live, in Elko County, Nevada, they only measure it on the brightness of how much the light comes through. They have a meter that checks the brightness of the light. They can be blacked out like crazy but as long as they out out enough light output, they are fine.

 

Yea here in California they don't want anything obstructing the light at all... i think its kinda dumb because my lights still give off more light than most

 

Yeah I remembered living in Cali and all their friggin gay ass laws on modifications.

man if you were in Dallas area I would have already gotten those from you, I think they look great on your truck.... you should keep them

 

johnson- im not sure if the 07 lights have the same wiring because my buddy has aa 06 and the wires for the tail light were different...can you check? thanx
