does this only unlatch from underneath?
ie. Would it secure the bed if you had locking tailgate?

I know, vinyl tonneau is only going to keep out the honest ones

Also, is this a roll up or tri fold?

Yeah it has 4 latches underneath, 2 in the back 2 up front. If you had a locking tailgate it would be secure, but doesn't take much for someone to cut the vinyl. I don't have a locking tailgate, but I don't keep anything in my bed

Tri fold, there were some reviews on Amazon about the front lifting up around 80mph, but I did 90 on the expressway to see if it was an issue and it didn't budge.

I'm really curious about this. How are you mounting the trax to the outside of the topper?

Best I’ve ever gotten was 317mi. Without auxiliary tanks. I usually fill up at 1/4tank mark. That one might have been particularly low.

    this is soooo cool!!!

Did a little re-enacting today at Washington's Crossing Park, PA. Yeah, it was bloody hot manning the cannon for the public today, but very worth it for the living history aspect.

    Too many to list.
Drilled holes on the cap and recycled some aluminum I had laying around ..secured it with bolts and nuts.

The case is not cracked as I said in my previous post prototype motorcycle before production ,very rough castings and to make it look prettier the cases were painted, looks like aluminum colored epoxy from probably 1974-75 time frame, so yes it is rough finished pre-productionbike, the case is not cracked. I have the same bike later version for direct comparison.
This is what I do helping out friends.
Most jobs I do not charge my friends, but with the amount of work involved this time it will be a time and labor job.

What was your question on my cooler? True cool max 4920 is the unit. I used a piece of 1 1/2" angle aluminum to the factory bolts that hold the steel lines in place. Routed the new lines up to where the joint for the factory cooler went. No cutting or custom work done beyond the bracket I made for free. Could be returned to stock if I wanted. Factory cooler is for sale now.
