New model Bronson and 5010 got released! That 5010 is a tempting offer for me. looking for a mid-travel plus bike.

Bronson specs a 160 fork on it now too. I guess they saw my 160 MRP and decided they needed to catch up!

Thanks, and yep, moto style on every bike.

The whole process was fun and went fairly smooth, but not without issues.Took about 10 times as long to do as a shop mechanic would . Finally got my rear brake on, just need to trim the hose.

No kidding, way too many 'standards'. Since I ordered and received my 11spd XT drivetrain, new 12spd XTR was introduced with a new freehub not compatible with my not yet build new bike. Oh well, not that it was going on my bike anyway.

Yeah, because you can't ride the same trails with 8,9,10, or 11 spd as you can with 12. :). I never thought I needed more than 8x3...but I do like my 11x1 now. Don't sweat the 12spd, enjoy your new ride, it's sweet!

I like my Kuat 2 bike rack. It is super easy to operate and fold out of the way when not in use.

I have the kuat Sherpa 2.0 and a buddy I ride with all the time has the 1up and both are a good buy in my opinion. I ride 4-6 days a week and travel a bit on the weekends. Nothing bad to say about either except I’m not a fan of the mounting of the 1up. I know with my luck I’d lose the Allen key

So do I, but then I usually set it on the rear bumper while I button things up. Haven’t forgotten and driven off with it ... yet.

Agree on Yakima and Thule. I have Kuat now. I like the integrated locks and didn’t like that 1Up doesn’t do a hitch pin. I like that extra element of confidence that my rack isn’t going to work it’s way loose.

Ok, time to quit looking at TW and go for a ride. It was mid-90’s yesterday and it already feels like it’s gonna be hotter today, and it’s only 9:30. I’m only a mile from the ocean too.
