Didn’t hear one firework last night.
Maybe they are doing it this weekend.
Lots of white noise in my house during the summer at night due to the friggin whippoorwills.
So maybe they had some.

 

I really need to get my head out of the gutter this morning..

 

My town put theirs up Tuesday night. Last night there were a few in the neighborhood. I wear Bose noise cancelling earbuds and listen to a sleep app on the phone. Usually dead silent but last night I could hear a few booms.

 

A sleep app?
So white noise or custom sounds?

 

That’s cool didn’t know about an app. I have room filter fan going for noise since I hear hissing nonstop!

 

Sleep Well app. Guided relaxation, hypnotic background noise. I used the free version for about a month and then bought the app to customize it a bit. I rarely need sleeping pills anymore. Of course I can't sleep without using the app either...

Regular headphones/earbuds work ok but the noise cancelling type cut out all of the background.

 

I must be one of them, there high strung individuals...

Just ask @bucktales and @Cypherian, they've seen me in a stressful situation...

Good morning all! I certainly hope everybody had a wonderful holiday. It was a good day to start catching up on housework I may have overdone it a little in the heat but a good day none the less.

 

I needed the break. Going to upload some videos at work today on WiFi. Loved the small town parade and all the kids with their bikes decorated

I can drink espresso and fall asleep ifen I’m tired, drives my wife nutts I’m asleep 15min after hittin the rack.

Morning all. Was a good day yesterday. Had a great meal @ a riverside restaurant, Son bought a new Kimber yesterday, nice piece! Ride home was a little hairy on the interstate as we hit two separate downpours. My Dad said he measured two inches of rain in an hour @ his house. No fireworks. Back to reality. Again I like to eat so here I am...
