Please tell me, I'm genuinely curious.
I do know that most people do not think highly of me.

The SR5 was more than enough truck for me.
I couldn’t resist the savings versus getting a TRD model. It would have been nice to have all the extras but that’s just more things that might go out since I plan on keeping this truck for the next 10+ years.

More than enough without a doubt. I recently rented a Frontier for 2 days. It was a night and day difference in the ride, comfort, and overall quality as a truck. I could not perform a descent enough u-turn, the motor lacked a sack, the steering was stiff, the tailgate slammed open crazy style (What? I got used to the 3rd Gen :0) etc.

When I got into the SR5 the day I returned the Frontier, the drive was supreme. It’s such an awesome truck.

Anyone got a pic of the stock sr5 wheels with 265's rather then the 245 they come with?

I rubbed a little but with a proper alignment it went away. For my piece of mind i did a cab mount chop.

My buddy has the SR5, he changed the wheels/tires and suspension like most. Truck looks great! SR5 just has less stuff to go wrong

    First, your setup looks awesome.

Second, this is stock, no lift, right? The reason I ask is the stuff up front added weight, so if you experienced slight rub it is not clear that stock (i.e. no weight up front) would experience any.

    Again, great looking setup.

thank you. If I did't have the winch it might not have rubbed. I don't have a lift in it, but I only lost 1/2 inch when I added 150lb of winch and frame

"less stuff to go wrong"... you know these are essentially the same trucks through and through, right? the offroad has some different parts, but the trd sport is an sr5 with some appearance package things and push-to-start. you can get the same stereo and sonar parking stuff in an SR5. i'd say they if the truck is going to have a problem, ever version of it will have the same probability of having that problem.

265/75/16... Wildpeaks. No lift, absolutely no rubbing. Great tires.

I removed the mudflaps because I almost broke one off-road... But the tires never even rubbed the flaps with the stock wheels.

I do plan on lifting it... But won't change the tires. When I burn these up, I'll get another set, same size.
