    Good Morning
Things were quiet last night, a few fireworks. The rain never reached us yesterday, it all broke up. 80s today then cool off for weekend and 90s next week.

Wife has a feature on her alarm clock that make a soft noise to help her sleep. It's the sound of running water. First time I heard it I thought a toilet was running. I was looking everywhere to find the running water. I just use foam ear plugs.

    Good morning.
I don’t know why but a day off in the middle of the week really throws me. I woke up this morning thinking I had a whole week ahead of me. :frusty: Then it finally dawned on me that I just have to work two days and then it’s the weekend.

Years ago when I first got here the place we rented was out next to a state wild life park. Old house no AC but a whole house fan which meant leaving a few windows cracked. My Ex wakes me up about 0 dark of the evening yelling out the window at a whippoorwill to shut up lol ...And no it didn't ;)

Switched from coffee to Diet Dew about half an hour ago. Have to stop that around noon though. Used to be able drink a pot of coffee lay down and be out like a light. Not so much anymore for some reason. 2 cups of coffee first thing in the morning nurse a dew after that until noon or so and stick a fork in me I'm done.

Was wondering how you made out Bob, sounds like it was too hot but better than being at work! I looked at my backpacking equipment the other day and have most everything marked with the weight on it. Added it all up in my head and thought to hell with that. Been a long time for me and don't see it happening anytime soon. Good on you for getting out.
