Unfortunately. Always tough when a holiday is in the middle of the week. Although, on the bright side the weekend is almost here.

Does anyone know what the running voltage of our trucks should be while driving on the highway or something? It's jumping around in my truck and it appears my 11k mile old alternator might be shitting the bed. I'm seeing anywhere from 13.4v to almost 11.3 volts....

13.4 is normal, 11.3 is not. Even idling, I'll see 13v. I've only seen 11 when my aux battery wasn't grounded properly.

    Morning y'all! Busy day yesterday.

Molly and I went out for brunch since we are trying to cross things off our Boston Bucket List, and ended up going on a no-GPS drive through Boston on account of no traffic. We found our way into the city and hit the old statehouse, old north church, and faneuil hall! Ended up being pretty apt for the 4th!

Then yesterday evening we went down to the Cambridge side of the Charles to watch the fireworks. Took us forever to get home, but it was worth it.

It is a ghost town in my office today. I just walked across our campus to another building to get an iced coffee and there is hardly anyone here.

I've gotten so much done today. The only emails I've gotten around from managers in Europe and I've actually been able to concentrate on getting my shit done for once.

not entirely sure what's causing it - I don't see any shorts or anything but I'll have to double check everything this weekend. I'm going to disconnect the fridge on my way home and see if that makes a difference. All the accessories and the additional lines to the fuse box go through fused breakers so if there's a short I would have assumed it would have tripped but nothing yet.
