I don't really want to keep this going, but you said "challenged" - not "taken" lol.

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled programming..

    Interesting...

After 2000+ km on 1.04A 91, I still get a brief ping once and a while under moderate to heavy load - right when I get into it. Other times I can be full throttle and not get a hint of it. We are finally getting some summer temps here (30+ C), so that could be playing a role I guess.

FWIW, I've replaced my CKP already with the "new" updated version.

Tactrix Openport ordered. Up in Canada so I’m expecting it to take a while and was going to hold off on ordering the tune until I get it. However with the $100 donation offer I may go ahead. Anyone have any experience on how long it will take to get it in Ontario?

Currently running 1.03 91 cus my truck likes it better than 1.04. After 7k miles its seems to perform flawlessly. No more of that gear upshift and downshift when doing turns... I'm excited for 1.05!

same here. I still have the flaky bouncing rpms at idle (like I'm in the truck tapping the pedal slightly)
but other than that, I prefer 1.03 and 1.05 sounds good, looking forward to that one as well.

For the umpteenth time, it does that with the stock tune as well.

Mine didn't do it when I was on stock tune. It only does it when the a/c compressor kicks on with the 91 1.04 tune. Also, when I'm close to or at full throttle it definitely doesn't feel as smooth as it should in the higher rpm range especially when it shifts to the next gear.

Odd, mine didn't do it at all - a/c or not on 1.04. 1.03 is a bit different though... I like the more
aggressive pedal which is why I went back to it and the fluttering rpm's @ idle is the only part
of 1.03 that seems a bit off. Spoke to Mat, he said it's no issue so it's no issue for me.

Who’s the one complaining about something that numerous people, including the developer, says does it on EVERY truck, even stock?

As someone who grew up in CA, yes, CA sucks. Lol at least it does now. Wasn't always as bad as it is now. And I won't ever move back there either. Too expensive, no point in returning anyway, and most of my firearms would be illegal

    wrong on all counts.

No one is complaining miss, it's a discussion forum.

Mat will be one of the first to tell you, these trucks behave differently under the same conditions, it's been
stated here and throughout this sub-forum countless times and no one has a solid answer as to why they do it...
which is why this thread & the tune came to be.

I've had the tune through ALL versions and 1.03 is the one I find to my liking, if not, I would have
    thrown 1.04 back on.

Sounds like a lot of folks are running these OTS maps. Anyone running a custom tune? I'm not a fan OTS maps.

He hasn't released custom tuning yet, but he will. Skim through the thread and you'll find all the info you need

And I’ve met one of you.

@TFly Travis, regarding the post you linked, Mat says he’s seen it on the stock tune. He does not mention every truck in that post.
Also, the cursing on an open forum brings your maturity to the same levels you’re trying to insult. Don’t be that guy.
