    I think what @White lightning boosted has done is he spliced his urd maf extension harness. So I think technically you could buy that extension harness and splice it.

    Correct as @Murphinator said. I t-tapped the wire. If you're careful it will be just fine. I had the extension so I opted to go there.

    It's just a signal wire, no massive current so any sturdy connection will be great.

    Nice! Sounds easy enough.. This is the only real wiring that involves cutting into a harness right? I tried looking on snow performance's website, but there was no info under the instructions tab..

    Also did you relocate your secondary air pump, or is that how yours came from the factory? Ill need to relocate mine before I can add meth..

    That's what I was planning on doing, tapping the extension harness, for my 2nd stage water/methanol injection. My truck came without the secondary air pump. I have a friend who wants to delete his, although I haven't heard if he's looked into doing it yet.

    Lucky man, theyre nothing but a pita that take up space. Wish i didnt have one in mine.. someone needs to come out with a bypass for the system so it can just be deleted and removed

    True to all that. Yes, that's the only wire to tap. I plan on some rewiring soon. As of now I'm t-tapped for a power wire off the fuse bank. Works like a charm!

    Amazon has that meth kit too. Think that's where I found best price.

    Great. I know I put this thread in the wrong section. Should have been in performance and tuning. Spread the word. FYI if you find these kits for cheaper elsewhere there's a reason. Dont buy them. They are not valid for warranty through snow.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    4 banger first gen butting in, I'm about to install the rest of my AEM meth kit and I'm probably going to tap my MAF but might tap the sensor wire for my electronic boost gauge (also a 0-5v sensor). Hope it works out nicely for the month or so that I keep this supercharger, gonna go to a single turbo setup very soon with Haltech standalone. Done trying to trick the Toyota ECU into half assing fuel and timing for boost. But I'll let you all know how things go with the meth install.
