It must be an obsession. I have owned a ton of nice vehicles in my life but I have never owned one that was photographed so much. I have more pictures of my 16 Tacoma than I do of all my previous vehicles. I probably have more than my entire family. Maybe it is just the fact that we now have cameras with us all he time. Definitely an addiction.

Sorry but my 500 gb hard drive is full of previous Tacoma pictures. I will need to get a separate hard drive to upload/download any future Tacoma pix. It would be a crime to delete any.

Dropped it off for 40,000 mile service and spying on them while I wait, then as always I’ll double check everything when I get home, they have always done it with no issues but still have to check for peace of mind
I’ll probably start doing it myself after the warranty is up at 60,000 (maybe)

What aftermarket grill do you have on your truck looks like it has a cutout for your sensor?

Made a tie up for my dog. Got to make a 3 foot lead line tonight with a large carabiner on end that i can hook around so she can go back and forth on it.

Used to use a similar set up when running my Redticks. I used dog chain and three evenly spaced brass snaps. I also put down a pad so they could ride comfortably to and from hunting locations. If you've ever sat on the beds ridges you know how uncomfortable they can be for the dogs especially while lying down. These days my buddys ride in style inside the cab with me. First my shorthair and best buddy Murphy and now my Lab partner and pal Riley. Seat covers and a Mud River rear seat cover over that keeps dog hair to a minimum.
It's a lot safer for them and they like being close to me. But I get it dog hair can be a real pain in the derriere to clean up.
Not dissing your setup cause I've done it.
Eventually I ended up using a dog box it was safer and more comfortable for them.
    Nowadays they ride first class.
    Just my take on it.

I agree. You never plan on slamming on the brakes. The only safe place is in a tied down crate in my opinion.

Seat belt harness is another great option, a dog box (although pricey) or secured air kennel are among the safest alternatives. No argument there.

I don’t dissagree with you at all. She used to ride up front with me in my civic and will again when i can afford to get some seat covers for this new truck. She ruined my civic seats over the years but didn’t have them covered. I have a carpet mat on order for back as well. I do have a dog box option if we are going anywhere other than down the street to the river to play. Mainly i had a bunch of paracord laying around and nothing to do with it.

I threw the crate in the back one time, didn't secure it as we were only going two blocks to our neighborhood park. He must have been standing up as I went around the corner, the crate rolled split open, it scared him and he jumped out at 20 MPH. That was in March, he still doesn't grow hair under his chin. I felt really bad. He didn't hurt anything fortunately. But he was bleeding in several spots.

Ok y’all have talked me into changing this to a yeti secure harness. Don’t want my hunting buddy in anymore danger than just being around me with a gun

I hear you. FH Group makes some really inexpensive universal faux leather seat covers. I got mine on ebay. They actually fit pretty good if you take your time installing them and the naugahyde keeps the seat free of mud and dirt. I threw the Boyt Mud River cover over that to keep Rileys nail from tearing the naugahyde up. He's a big Lab and dives in the back seat (on command) like he's fired out of a cannon!
And I hear you about $$. I'm not loaded either Bud! No harm, no foul. Life has it's priorities and everyones are different whether by desire or by necessity. It's all good.

Glad he's OK. You can be the best dog owner in the world and still have things happen. Then there are those that could give two shits about their animals and nothing ever happens to them. I'm guessing we all know someone in the latter category. Doesn't seem fair but what in life is? Kinda like a millionaire who buys one lottery ticket in his life and hits it big and some poor working stiff playing every week and never even winning a free ticket. That's life, it just is what it is.

That’s a good idea. How long is your leash? I have two pits and they always want to be in the front seat together. I have a seat belt leash but my big one figured out how to in unhook the damn thing.

Agreed, I should have done it in the beginning. Doubt I can sell the others unless I find some unlucky guy that broke his.
