Detroit Lockers are a different animal to drive on the street. I have a full Detroit locker in my K30 14bolt rear end. With a built small block and dirty7's it's a handful on slippery roads.

Most Bluetooth scanners won't do SRS system. If your doesn't just jump the 2 terminals and count the flashes of the light. Info's in the PDF I uploaded earlier.

I've never felt like a lunchbox locker is a problem on the street. Yeah it makes lots of noise from time to time but dynamically, it's fine in just about any kind of weather. I had one in the back of my third gen 4Runner that had a bunch of miles in the snow/rain/ice. I would (and did) give the keys to anybody without hesitation, just point and shoot even in 2wd. Same thing in the Tacoma, I DD'ed it with a lunchbox locker and a square front driveshaft so it was 2wd all the time unless it was really deep snow.

I've been thinking about doing a lunchbox locker for the rear of my truck, but with a Land cruiser axle. The only thing stopping me really is that they break in pretty crippling ways a lot more often than nice selectable lockers like Harrop and ARB do.

You break any locker and it's going to be a bad day. I had a junk Powertrax no-slip come apart on me on the highway but I've run Spartan's for years with no problems. Same goes for all my friends that are all on 37"+ tires running lunchboxes (Lockright or Spartan) with no problem too.

I just picked up my Snap-On ratchets from UPS today.

I cannot believe how badly Snap-On packages their merchandise for shipping. It’s ridiculous. They literally threw all three of the ratchets into a plastic bag and shoved it into a flat cardboard mailer with no packaging at all.

The way you see them is how I pulled them out of the box, minus the one plastic bag holding them all.

The difference in teeth is very noticeable from my Stanley-Kirkland ratchets. Isn’t as loud and doesn’t have as much play as those ones.
