I've never sunk a truck either. But I will stay off the streets. Thanks for the advice.

Children today don't have the accountability that some of us more seasoned posters knew was more the norm in the past. Let's hope that our little Gilligan buddy learned a valuable lesson from this and hopefully the new found maturity helps him to make better choices in the future.

Must be nice to all the recent rude people who apparently have never made a mistake in life or done any wrong! Must be really nice to be perfect. Didn't make this post for people to tell me I'm a moron or that I'm not mature. I owned up to my mistake. Hope you enjoy your life where your shit don't stink. I was cool with all the joking and what not and didn't try to get anyone banned but when you make personal remarks like that without even knowing me, then you can go kick rocks. GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE!

Your insurance premium is impacted far more by people who text and drive or drink and drive. Don’t be a douche. One guy drowning his truck in a river has no effect on you.

This is a really good read and thread. Let’s not fuck it up and for a refresher since some people choose not to read through the thread and start at the end...

OP, good luck and subd for the outcome!

Insurance co's automatically total a vehicle with water up to the dash does not matter what it is for a good reason.

Insurance premiums. Lol. Yep they cost more, and you get worse Mpgs. It’s been that way lonnnnng before this guy sunk his truck.

If you don’t want to pay to play just get 4x2. Better yet get a Prius.

One guy failing a water crossing (that he has done successfully in the past) seriously does not impact your life enough that you should feel the need to attack him on the internet. Nor does it make him a moron.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

This thread is like paying big money to go see the Rolling Stones and they don't come out for an encore. It's like sitting in the theatre watching Arnold kick the shit out of Bruce Lee and some asshole pulls the fire alarm. It's like paying extra for a happy ending and not getting a happy ending. I'm not saying the OP is a douche bag, but...
