I was told Wednesday morning that they were tearing into it and bring what parts I had asap... and sent these pics from my service advisor
(I was waiting for the UPS that I had missed the day before when we were both at work... dame it, $1k+ of shocks from @HeadStrong Off-Road requires a signature... )

When I arrived at about 11ish, to drop off sway bar linkages and inspect my motor/ transmission mounts for possible replacement (I saw no need at this time, the originals look great still. I'll replace the mounts when I rebuild the motor after I hit 300k miles and add the supercharger....!)

    I took these pics

It's a shame the had to install the old shocks/ coil-overs for a few hours, but it didn't cost me anything extra!

I will get some pictures in the morning all set up... and likely change my avatar!

Curious if anyone replaces their water pump or timing belt (?) when their truck is in this state of repair. This seems like an ideal time to have both done when there is clear unobstructed access to the engine.

    The dealer
The dealer that did my frame replacement never drops the engine and transmission down.

They support it on the lift.. that’s what I think... and it is also what I saw.. stop by Shore Toyota when they are doing a frame replacement and you can see this wondrous event too

I was told that’s one of the common things they check and will call if it needs replacement .

Well mine needs one I cleaned and greased it and steering was loose as hell.
I’m willing to sink some $ in it.
I wanna keep it. Although prices of trucks with less miles and new frames seem to be dropping in our area. I have put 120 k on this truck and still enjoy every minute with it.

    some pics:

Hindsight being what it is, and wishing the dealer would have given me just a bit more time to think after looking at it dis-assembled... I wish I would have had the body mounts replaced and I wish the dealer would have made me aware that the rear leaf OEM shackles were not part of the Recall... and any of the various Bolts or bracket that show along the frame.... because I sure would have sprung for those parts costs.... I also wish i would have handed them an AAL... because my factory nose down stance is gone... and I don't like the level look... so that is next on the list to purchase and install....

Saturday's project will be trying to tackle the Front Drivers side Hub/bearing R&R.... fingers crossed it goes like it looks like it should....
