Do it up. All the action ends up in the woods or the rtt. Most chicks cant keep these up right while taking a pounding.

 

I drilled thru it and bolted them on. Easiest and most secure way without going to a tek screw which is not secure at all. Just the easy cheap way to go

 

Note to self, wear PPE if buying @snowtank ’s RTT.

He can come do a write up on how to fix it lol. But for real, it's aluminum. Self tappers hold pretty well in the soft stuff. Steel wouldn't be great for them but I see no problem with aluminum. Holds just fine and still as tight as a @snowtank !

Yeah but you're just using the self tappers for grounding purposes not for holding on the weight of lights. And I am pretty tight
