Agreed, average, for the average commuter. EBC knows brakes but I must say, I tried a set of their pads & I was disappointed. I don't know which ones they were but they were painted green & cost well over $100. Those damn pads wore out fast & made dust like crazy. I went back to Hawk Ceramics, been using them for years. Not the best bite when cold but they'll get heat in them quick & it never gets cold here. Last long & very low dust. I might try something else on the next brake job.

FWIW, I just put in Castrol synthetic dot 4, the green RainX washer fluid, & I use Mobile1 oil filters.

@Uphillshunter Don't get me wrong, I never had issues with the Brembo rotors, never warped or anything. They look all shiny & nice when new like any new rotor but they won't stay that way. They'll get all rusted up in a few months but then again so will OEM rotors. But the rust won't hurt anything & you can always paint them if you wanted to.

Went with Centrics this time, they come coated black to prevent rust & they're less expensive. So far they seem to perform better than the "Brembos". I'm happy with them so I'm going to buy another set. I always have an extra set that I use to rotate so i donxt have to wait to get my rotors turned.

No work on the truck today, did get an alignment again today though, but I have been working on it a lot lately & still got more to do. Finally got tired of my 20yr old Craftsman jack. Bought a new jack from HF today w/ coupon. I never thought I would say this about anything from HF but this jack is bad ass & heavy as fuck. No wonder Snap On tried to sue. Can't believe I waited so long to get a new one.... well I do have an aluminum one from Matco (well Matco's name on it) but it's got no business for lifting my truck.

Spent the 4th installing OME 881s, dakar leafs, nitrocharger shocks all around, greasable shackles, OEM LBJs, OEM outer tie rods, Moog sway bar end links, and braided stainless steel brake lines front and back (sorry Uphillshunter, flushed break fluid w/ OEM DOT3). God bless America!
