Wind eventually will calm down but if it spreads too far you lose the ability for ground teams to reach it. I assume the first time they can helis will go in at least to assess it.

Well I hope the wind cuts out soon for em. Don't suppose they'll do what WA and MT have done and declare a state of emergency to get more support.

Our forest is messed, beatles came through years ago and killed a bunch.

I spend a lot of time up there hiking off trail hunting and stuff, most the time I spend more time walking 5 feet off the ground on dead fall than I do on the ground.

A short wobble extension. Had to turn the drive shaft to just the right position to make it fit.

It was a cheepo MasterCraft. I have a Craftsman as my backup but it is a bit small. Snap-On is on the short list as a replacement.

Pine beetle ravaged california forests w the drought. Only thin that kills those buggers is below 20 for over two weeks or lots of water so the trees sap can fight them off. Every year we have cut down about 18 trees on our property and if you drive into yosemite now there are huge swaths of brown sections of the forest. The smarties wont let them remove and thin the forest or whats left of the rim fire so its just waiting to be an even larger fire next time.

Speaking of fires, the one near me is at 54k acres. 45% contained though and we're supposed to get some rain soon, so that's good. It's about 10ish miles away from downtown and about 15 miles from my house. This things been burning for over a month now, getting a little tired of the smoke and terrible air quality.

Here's a pic I took yesterday of the smoke.

You have a different one, I have a 1995-2000 steering wheel. As far as I remember there’s no plastic piece like that in there.

I had to use my air impact to remove the bolts. They’re on good.
