Ok TTC looks like there may not be frame damage and seeing as how all the shops are afraid of working on a lifted truck on 33’s (not like I’m driving a bro dozer) State Farm is just gonna pay me to fix ...

    Dilemma:

Fix the inner aprion and minor body damage and I’m talking you won’t notice or .... Get a new set of coil-overs?

Honestly? SAS, 4 link, LS swap..
Realistically? Document everything, take an Uber, and use the insurance check for mods

Bingo! Might even get bumper out of it.
But I’ll be cutting my teeth on replacing the knuckle but I’ve never shied away from a challenge

Don’t be afraid to challenge their offer. Insurance companies are businesses, not 501.3c. Fight for 100% PLUS your “pain and suffering” to deal with the issue. I highly recommend everyone upping their PIP insurance for the same reason

    This man is right.

The insurance companies are not your friend. You are their customer but they will do anything to screw you and do it with a smile. Take them for all they're worth.

Better believe I am. I printed every OEM part that “may need replaced” and I’m “replacing it” some for sure will be and could be more later, not sure if the 4x4 is all good yet. But their initial check I’m gonna fight for as much as possible.

Tell your insurance company that all replacement parts are to be OEM, not OEM-comparable, not aftermarket, not duct tape and bubblegum. By law, insurance companies cannot use less-than-OEM parts when you, as their client, specify OEM. One of the few laws Texas has to protect consumers.

I’m fighting two wrecks right now. The first one permanently damaged the wife’s spine and the second won’t acknowledge any physical damage. Neither were my fault, but long story short, avoid drunk drivers. They really fuck up your life :(
You CANNOT be too protected. Let me know if you need help with paperwork. I’d be happy to lend a hand.

I won’t lie on your behalf, though. Help me help you, bubba.

God damn dude, I'm really sorry to hear that, more than I can express. I sincerely hope you and your wife come out on top of all this.

USAA screwed me bad before. When I got tboned in my 14 Camry they made sure they had a big Texas smile on their face. They said it was my fault since he was in the lane of travel, although he was speeding and had no lights on at about 830 at night. The real bummer is I just put a full tank in.

I kinda miss that Camry, it was a fantastic color, the Cosmic Gray
