Good morning folks. Have a slight change in the weather today...hot and cloudy. Supposed to get to somewhere between 115 and 118 but if the clouds stick around it may not. So it'll be interesting.

Was outside about midnight and seen my neighbor come home so I walked over to get the scoop on the baby. As soon as I stepped out of the garage I could feel the heat in the concrete.

 

Damn.118,here if its 95 and humid you cant breath.how do you tolerate that.wow!!i worked in the yard yesterday 95 and humid and i was exhausted

But it's a dry heat

 

I had 80* with swamp azz humidity on the way in at 4:30 this morning.
I don't ever recall those temps at that time of day.
Raining now ahead of the cold front.
Temps and humidity are supposed to drop pretty good later.

 

Mostly by adjusting schedules. Get up early and get things done and start winding down before the peak. Save inside work for when it's hottest. On these "hot" days nobody realistically expects to get a whole lot done except the really important stuff. When we do get humidity above normal, the same applies. Work inside in ac. This is why we plan our projects at work so we don't have to contend with weather. The other 8 months are pretty awesome.

 

Humidity here now is only 14%....

 

same here, calls for rain and cooler when same cold front hits us this evening

 

I just looked our humidity now is 79 %

 

Those days suck. Fortunately we don't get many of those.

Here in the Desert it's the low humidity that makes it feel tolerable . Also we've got afternoon breeze from the Desert thermals and this makes it feel cooler

Humidity here at 0907hrs is 15%

Also we've got T storms in the forecast for tomorrow !!


I might venture outside today to go shopping but will spend most my time inside today keeping my self hydrated for tomorrow's fun !!!
