Their initial check only covers what is visible. Any hidden damage you find after pulling it apart would be normally covered by the repair facility using a supplement where we would make them pony up to fix the additional damage. If you're 100% sure theres no frame damage I would go on with your bad self and fix it and go about your day. Maybe even make them pay to have someone put it on a frame machine to measure and see if it's good.

True this is. It also doesn't accommodate a rear camera setup easily either.

Amen! Just throw some decent seat covers and you're good to go.
These are my favourites, about $30 per seat, the fit is good on our Tacomas, they look nice, material looks like it will hold up for a long while. They carry them in a few different styles/colors.

I honestly love the leather in my vehicles because it's so easy to get dog hair and dirt/mud/sand off of. Plus on a hot day the leather smell is nice.

Only thing I smell on a hot day is my nasty funky smell....:puke:
I would LOVE leather if I didn't work outside, had remote start on my dd, and I lived somewhere cooler.

I don't have remote start either but I deal with the potential for scalding thighs. I feel like cloth seats, even when covered, hold all kinds of stink and germs.

There is just something about having to put a towel on the seat so I don't burn the hell out of myself on hot days that turns me off to leather. Now if I was not in such a hot climate It would probably get leather.

Sorry for the late reply been. Busy outside.
No real reason, have two friends that have them in there work trucks and they hold up well and I didn’t care for the way the factory cloth covers showed everything. Plus I wanted different matching colors.

Go with Viper, that's what I've had on the 2nd gen since 2014 with no issues. I have the extended range which is phenomenal.

Got one very similar to this model installed at at a shop in "da hood" for about $350 out the door.

Mine isn't the color screen though.

This is the one I have. Think it Compustar in the US. Up here either you got remote start or you freeze.
Super Great range but there is one anomaly a good installer needs to work around on 2nd Gens. Not sure about 3rd's.

Everyone is hard at work..... Except us? I've worked 2 full days this week..... :angrygirl:
Don't know what to do with myself. :frusty:
Chances for next week's beach trip are looking bleak, especially with everything that has happened this past month.

On a happier note, here's a picture of Tacos....

    A gaggle of Tacos?
    A Plate of Tacos?
    A herd of Tacos?
    A pack of Tacos?
    A pride of Tacos?
What's the noun of multitude for our trucks?
