Why does it say no upcharges if there is a $130 upcharge for the bolt on option?

They are 2 completely different sliders. Bolt on sliders will run more than a weld on. We don't up charge for using DOM Tubing, adding kick outs, adding an angle or many of the other small details we all include with ours. Flat rate shipping and no tax is another great addition.

Just curious, why not offer powder coating for shipped sliders? Not enough bubble wrap in the world that can protect them?

Great question. There are a few reasons.

    1. Many people do not powder coat sliders to begin with due to them getting scratched while wheeling. on our personal rigs we actually coat ours with a bed liner spray paint and it works great. Gives it a nice textured finish like powder-coat but when it becomes scratched its easy to touch up.

    2. Powder-coating is very easy to have a local company take care of for you if you would like. Even though we have these on a pallet and wrapped nicely there is always the guy that stabs it with a forklift or any number of crazy things that happen when they are in the hands of the freight companies. We would hate to charge a customer for them to be powder-coated just to have them arrive scratched. Many companies that ship them powder-coated say too bad so sad and we just do not want to have to deal with that.

    3. Lead time. We have these sliders made and ready to ship within a few business days of them being ordered. Powder-coating adds at least an extra week

    4. Cost: Not only is the powder coat cost but the extra labor involved in packaging them and the cost of supplies. It would just be cheaper for the customer to have done locally.

We do offer powder-coating though for the sliders if they are being picked up from our facility here in Buena Park, CA. We have many orders currently for powder-coated sliders that are getting picked up from us so we can ensure its leaving our shop and going in the customers truck with a nice finish.

Which bedliner do you use, did you just degrease and apply or did you put a base coat on before the bedliner?

Anyways, Placed an order. Cant wait to bolt those on. :spending:

Thanks! We made them competitive even if they are freight shipped by offering flat rate shipping. Also there is no tax so you can see the at your door price! Also no crazy lead-times! We are providing a high quality slider at a great price that is in stock and ready to ship.

I don't see a powder coat option on your website. What do you charge for powder coat (local pickup)?
