very true. Not sure how big a deal 75w85 versus 75w90, also prefer synthetic top of the line stuff, but not paying dealer prices for Toyota OEM fluids.

 

Thanks Matt. My rear end is same as off road and has locker. Pretty certain no additive required.

 

Eh, supertech is full synthetic. And the rear was a little milky the first change before breather relocate mod. Transfer case was barely milky for the first few seconds, front diff looked nearly new.
This second change, all 3 were pretty damn much the same color and feel and stank when they went in.

 

I've not used the additive and I definitely have a "Auto LSD" light that kicks on in 4lo.







Wish it was real LSD...

 

that's basically what the GL-5 part is. They engineer the additives into the fluid. So it's there whether you need it or not.

Basically my hi-lift and a shovel for the Chicago guys and a Cherokee.

I need to look into some mounts for my jack that I can lock, and one of those nifty cb antenna mounts that hook up to the hood hinges. I keep knocking my magnetic antenna off of my roof.

All I really need is $500,000.00, then I’d be set!

 

If you have the length of coax, run it off the bed instead of the hood

Sorry, I was under the impression you were wanting to ditch the mag mount and get something like a Firestik. I hated my cheap mag mount, always fell off due to trees or even a stiff breeze

 

So I went to Red River Gorge today with the family to go hike and there were at least 20 guys running RC 4x4s along the trail. That was a first...

 

Thought this was funny outside of Badlands. Until I seen this outside of the liquor store.
