    in the last three weeks, new ball and seat on the driveline, carrier bearing, and u joints, new belts, ps pump, brakes and rotors, lots of money, but still lovin my taco

    I do love my 06 but I also loved my 98.. I could drive my 98 like a sports car, speeding around. The 06 is bigger so not as easy to speed around it but some how I still do it (more power tho).. LOL I would love to have both!

    nasty dent on driver's side bed panel, shabby seats, cigarette burned interior roof, missing berf bar pad, cracked rain visor, removed hood scoop, unmentionable stain on back bench?
    new headers, new stereo, new speakers, new muffler, new fuel upgrade, it's all expensive........................ but worth every penny.

    on another note i am expecting to have to replace the drive shaft if my final lift kit alteration doesn't work out. Any suggestions?

    K&N "warm" air intake
    I had a 2000, missed it alot. Darn thing saved my life when I got T-Boned by a bone head speeding durning a heavy fog. This 09 isn't near as rugged as the 2000, I guess ford can claim their quality is like a Toyota's now.

    1 set of new break lines
    new BCM computer
    3 sets of front brakes
    3 new calipers
    3 sets of new rotors
    2 seats of rear universal joints
    4 O2 sensors
    1 new gas filler tube
    new belts X2
    air conditioner/heat system needed a complete replacement
    exhaust on its way out

    the engine was awesome, just everything aroundthe engine sucked.
    I stopped liking the truck after the second set of bearings. i kept it because it was paid off. looking back it cost over $3000 in repairs after 80k miles.
    even though the bank was paid off I was still making payments just to various repair shops.
