    I mean if it was good still (they usually are) they go a long time. Mine is at 265k and runs great.

    It didn't burn oil had power loss tho when i drove it no knocks

    Maybe you'll see what was causing it when you take off the head - before you do, you could still do a leak down test couldn't you?

    With a bad HG or head it could be pretty misleading but if the cyl walls look good I wouldn't worry

    This is the first time I've gone this deep into a engine I've done head gaskets but that's as far as I went the head gasket on the 97 is starting to leak I think that's the problem but idk the motor sounded great when the truck was together I mean I just wanna be able get it running right and the 04 head was rebuilt the valves look great idk how long ago but I can send pics

    I’ve got a B03A rear with elocker. Can I use a rear end housing that doesn’t have an elocker 3rd member and simply swap out my current 3rd and axles? (Replacing all seals of course). Any info is appreciated. 2004 Tacoma XtraCab, 5 speed, 3.4
