Forgot to post a link! Appreciate the reminder: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2lo-kit-for-2nd-gens.554456/

*PS: This is not soley for manual transmissions, this could still be of great use to automatic transmissions as well

Replaced my 600lb Eibach coils with 660lb OME 886's to solve the sagging and rubbing I experienced after installing an ARB bumper.

With my brother helping we had both sides done and torqued to spec in just under an hour.

    No more sag!

Nice bumper and lift. I’m thinking about that bumper and a full OME lift.

Thanks dude. I'd recommend adding new upper control arms if you aren't already considering it.

Did you use spring compressor or the jack method to replace the springs? Looks awesome!

Dog friendly, with dog snot on inside windows, with of course a/c! Mag 16 inch wheels from a Mazda.
I've replaced just only the structs not the springs using only a jack, a 3 hour job for each side. Knowing what I now know, strongly recommend to get the complete strut assembly. It's only a couple of dollars more and it'll save a lot of frustration and time. Use some tape to mark the new strut as to which side to install it. Triple check with VIN # to make sure it fits your truck! Also get an alignment! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-gBOTZASy4

Jack method! One of the best things I've learned from this forum. So much safer and easier than a spring compressor.

Curious what you found so difficult about the jack method? Guessing your LCAs were seized or some other issue because it's literally unbolting 3 bolts and loosening 2 on each side.

Took my grill off last night. I decided to cut out the plastic middle and put mesh in it. I like the way it turned out. It was a little scary cutting the grill though. Going to move the horns and get some high temp paint for the stuff inside next.
